Rachakonda Road, the route leading to Rachakonda Fort, is a great option for a weekend long run. It’s about 30 km from the city, so you’ll need to drive, park, and then start your run. The stretch is beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a picturesque experience.
Plan this route during the monsoon. The entire area turns green, the weather stays cool, and the light drizzle makes the run even more refreshing. It’s also an excellent route for cycling.
There are no shops or facilities nearby, so make sure you carry your own water, food, and essentials.

Ananthagiri Hills, its a weekend long drive/ride and run location. You need to start ealry in the morning either for drive and bike or drive and run. Its about 100km from Hi-Tech City. If you choose to ride, start early to return early, but it is going to be picuresque ride. If you want to run or ride on he hills. Drive early park your car and hten ride/run. You can plan for a half-marathon through those small hills, landscapes, canals and grass around the hill. If you choose to ride, it can be a quick 30 KM to cover reachable cycle tracks. There is a Haritha resort that you can plan your lunch.

Harihar Fort is an adventurous mountaineering and hiking spot. You need to climb about 120 rock-cut steps that rise at nearly an 80‑degree angle. You shouldn’t attempt this trek if you have acrophobia. You also need to be physically strong enough to climb those steep steps. It’s a slightly risky hike. Once you reach the top, the view and the thrill of the climb make it completely worth it. While climbing down, you must be careful and watch every step. There are small carved holes in the rocks that help you grip while going up or down. Definitely a trek you should try if you enjoy hiking and trekking.
